Halloween is coming, so that is the time to prepare something tasty and spooky!
Nothing says "Boo!" quite like our Spiderweb Cupcakes. And thanks to a shortcut with boxed sugar-free cake mix, they come together in just a few minutes, leaving you plenty of time to enjoy decorating them with your friends or family.

Ingredients (25 serves) 

  • 1 package sugar-free chocolate cake mix, prepared according to package directions;
  • 1 teaspoon orange extract;
  • 1 (16-ounce) can sugar-free white frosting;
  • 1 drop red food color;
  • 5 drops yellow food color;
  • black gel to decorate.

Instructions

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line 24 muffin cups with Halloween paper liners.;

Step 2

Stir the orange extract into the prepared batter. Evenly divide batter into the muffin cups;

Step 3

Bake according to package directions, allow to cool;

Step 4

In a small bowl combine frosting and food colors, mix well. Frost the cooled cupcakes and decorate with black gel (see photo).
